Spring Maintenance Checklist

It’s almost SPRING! The daffodils and flowering trees are already blooming and nature is ending its hibernation. It’s time to throw open the windows and do some spring cleaning. It is also time to give your house, inside and out, a good once-over to see what needs to be refreshed and renewed.

Given the option, I would rather not spend a Sunday on a ladder pulling leaves out of a gutter, and I know you wouldn’t either. But when your home is your biggest investment, as it is for most of us, maintaining it is a must. A home operates with the seasons, coming to life in the spring and hunkering down for the winter. Follow this natural arc all year long, and keep on top of the small stuff, and your house will run like a well-oiled machine.

I’ve attached my Spring Maintenance home checklist below for you to print out and follow. Make sure to hang it up somewhere you will see it, like your message/mail center or inside your cabinet. And remember, you don’t have to do everything at once.

If you need any contractors to help you with your home maintenance, just give me a call. I have a great list of plumbers, landscapers, and people who clean gutters, windows, and more. Think of me as your vendor connector!

Springtime is also when the spring real estate market begins to heat up. Curb appeal is at its best with green lawns and fresh mulch, and the spring sunlight streaming in through the windows makes your home glow. If you are thinking of moving, give me a call so we can formulate a solid game plan together. I'm ready to help you sell your home quickly and for top dollar.

Happy Spring!
