The Pre-Listing Checklist to Get Market Ready!
A thoughtful home edit isn’t about erasing your life; it’s about creating space for someone else to imagine theirs. By simplifying, neutralizing, and highlighting your home’s best features, you make rooms feel larger, brighter, and more inviting. Creating the kind of atmosphere that attracts stronger offers and helps your home sell faster. A clean, well-edited home also signals care, giving buyers confidence that the property has been well maintained.
Depersonalizing adds an important layer of safety and privacy by removing family photos, names, and identifying details from public marketing. It allows your home to shine, without putting your personal life on display.
The result? A home that feels elevated, universally appealing, and quietly irresistible to the widest pool of buyers.
My rule of thumb: if you’re not taking it with you, donate it. If you are taking it, start packing what you don’t need for daily life. Think of it as getting a head start on your move, with the bonus of creating space that buyers can fall in love with. Less really is more.
Here’s your checklist to help shift your home into that effortless “model home energy,” where every space feels calm, elevated, and ready to impress, with the traces of everyday life neatly tucked out of sight.
And if you’re unsure what stays and what goes, call me and I’ll be right over.
